The St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco is proud to observe 150 years of working among the poorest of the poor in our City. Since 1860 the
Society has quietly and consistently provided food, shelter and clothing for those in need.
We hope that you will join us for lunch on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the San Francisco Mariott to celebrate this great achievement. At this historical event the Society is honored to present the Frank Brennan Award for Service to the Poor to Sharon McCarthy Allen and Joanne Murphy. These two selfless volunteers epitomize the mission of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. For many years they have given generously of their time, talent and treasure to further the work of our namesake, St. Vincent.
