SVDP-SF to Expand City’s Newest Navigation Center

The St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco (SVDP-SF) has expanded its operation of the city’s Division Circle Navigation Center in Memory of Brian Quinn located at 224 S. Van Ness Ave. Division Circle had offered safe and clean emergency sleeping accommodations for 125 homeless adults each night, but has now expanded to a total of 185.

RAMS and Riley Center Partnership Announcement!

As of Spring 2019, SVDP-SF formed a partnership in 2019 with Richmond Area Multi Services (RAMS) to provide more comprehensive supportive services to Riley Center survivors of domestic violence. As part of this partnership, we are excited to announce that RAMS is now offering services at our Community Office at 1175 Howard Street two days a week.

We are happy to welcome RAMS clinician, Raul Yepez. Raul is a registered associate marriage and family therapist.

SVDP-SF Mural Unveiled

The scaffolding has come down and the new look of St. Vincent de Paul Society revealed. After years of planning and efforts to secure funding, we are thrilled to present a fresh contemporary and colorful face to the community.

With support from the Museum of the African Diaspora, SVDP-SF partnered with 1AMSF* to upgrade our Community and Administrative Office located on Howard Street. The project included a neighborhood invitation to provide input into the themes and overall appearance of the building mural.

Little Caesars Love Kitchen

St. Vincent de Paul Society’s MSC Shelter was the beneficiary of the generosity of Little Caesars Pizza Community Relations program called the Love Kitchen.

On August 19th the Love Kitchen pulled up to 525 Fifth Street, staffed by volunteers from the Little Caesars franchise on Geneva and Mission Streets and served two pieces of hot pizza to our 400 shelter guests that evening.
