Sign up to provide lunch for guests at one of our two homeless shelters! Quantities requested range from 100-250 packaged lunches, generally made up of sandwiches and a snack. For more information and available dates, please contact volunteers@svdp-sf.org.

Group events that help with the maintenance and upkeep of our shelters. Projects may include painting, gardening, repairs, decoration, and more.

Support our programs by keeping donations and supplies organized at the respective sites. Help is needed most frequently with clothing donations.

If you have a skill or hobby that you would like to share, please reach out and tell us more! Supplemental activities like art, music, reading, exercise, yoga, etc. are always a huge hit with our guests.

Interested in hosting a drive for your office/school/group? Reach out to inquire about current needs and coordination. We can provide donation barrels to your location and can help coordinate donation pick-ups.

If you are certified or licensed in a specific field and would like to volunteer your services, please reach out! We are always looking for volunteers who can provide services such as haircuts, medical treatments, mental health support, legal aid, and more.

Some of our guests need help learning the basics of technology use. If you are knowledgeable, please consider helping to teach skills like looking for job postings, using Google Docs to create documents, using email, and more.
