Director of Development
Phillip Keeling brings over ten years of non-profit experience with proven acumen in fundraising, strategic planning, organizational leadership, and event development. He was born and raised in Vero Beach, Fl and attended college at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Fl. He relocated to San Francisco in August of 2021 after working for organizations in Washington D.C., and Florida. Phillip has devoted his career to helping people in need.
He comes to St. Vincent de Paul after serving as a Regional Development Director, overseeing development teams nationwide for an international 501c3. Before that, he spent six years working for United Against Poverty, where he brought his skills to the challenges of non-profit development. He helped champion and lead development activities, including a twelve million dollar Lifting Lives Campaign, which funded the construction of a 48,000-square-foot- Indian River UP Center. Prior to his time at United Against Poverty he worked in Washington D.C. in the Health and Human Services sector.
A longtime Floridian, and a current San Francisco resident he is an active community volunteer. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Incubate Neighborhood Center in Fort Pierce, FL.
