Chelsy graduated from California State Polytechnic University with a degree in Psychology, including a focus on Family Violence, Substance Use and Abuse, Advanced Developmental Psychopathology, Business Management, Interpersonal Communications and Interviewing & Counseling. Chelsy has worked in many different positions in the field of social services helping marginalized communities and at-risk populations as a case manager, program supervisor/manager, and program director. She has managed TAY and transitional housing programs with over 1,000 clients, all with the primary goal of obtaining stable housing. The combination of that strong experience plus her enthusiasm and passion for the work, make her the best hire for the Riley Center, as well as an important addition to our Executive Leadership Team.
