Director of Homeless Services
As the Director of Homeless Services for the St. Vincent de Paul of San Francisco, Salvador is committed to partnering with City agencies to support homeless efforts at defining and reaching both short and long-term goals and systematically increasing each client’s self-sufficiency through workforce development, support services, case management, healthy meals, affordable housing, and financial independence. Previously, Salvador worked as an Immigration Attorney in Seattle and San Francisco. In addition, for years, Salvador supervised and facilitated the compliance of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Act for the San Francisco Unified School District, servicing over 9,000 public students. Salvador graduated with honors from San Diego State University with a degree in Bachelor of Arts. Followed by earning a Master’s Degree in Science Education Social Counseling at National University and completing a Juris Doctorate in Law at Whittier College.
